The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Government of India initiative that encourages students to participate in community service and social welfare activities. Anand Valley School, Someshwar, is proud to offer this opportunity to students of Classes XI and XII.
The main aim of NSS is to develop a sense of social responsibility and service among students. Through various activities such as cleanliness drives, tree plantation, environmental awareness campaigns, health programs, and community service projects, students learn the importance of helping others and contributing to society.
NSS volunteers work for the welfare of the community without any discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, or economic status. They also assist people during natural disasters and emergencies by providing support and relief wherever possible.
